For Sydney households

Household management
in Sydney.

Quietly Kept introduces busy Sydney families to an experienced household manager, and gives the household a shared place that takes the week out of one head. The school run, the plumber, the Saturday list — someone else's to keep.

A week in Mosman, kept

School run sorted, plumber Thursday, lunchboxes done, pantry restocked before the weekend.

Where we work

Across Sydney, close to home.

Our Sydney managers live across the harbour and the beaches. A role in Mosman is kept by someone who knows the lower North Shore; an Eastern Suburbs household, by someone who can reach Double Bay without crossing the city. We shortlist within a sensible commute of your home, so the relationship starts practical and stays that way.

North Shore

Mosman, Neutral Bay, Cremorne, Lane Cove, Chatswood, Willoughby

Eastern Suburbs

Double Bay, Bellevue Hill, Rose Bay, Vaucluse, Woollahra, Paddington

Inner West

Balmain, Rozelle, Annandale, Leichhardt, Drummoyne, Birchgrove

Northern Beaches

Manly, Freshwater, Curl Curl, Dee Why, Balgowlah, Avalon

We also work across regional New South Wales. The briefing, shortlist and platform work the same way wherever you are.

A typical engagement

Brief to settled, in three to four weeks.

Day 1

The brief

A 30-minute call. Routines, calendars, what you want left alone, and the rhythm of your week.

Week 1

The shortlist

Two or three candidates considered against your brief. Full profiles, references available on request.

Week 2

Introductions

Brief video introductions with the candidates you like. We can sit in for the first if you prefer, then you move to an in-person meeting.

Week 3

Engagement

You engage your manager directly. We help with the paperwork and onboard your household into the platform.

Quarter 1

Settled

Three months in: nobody has had to ask where the spare key is, when the bins go out, or what time piano starts. Quietly kept from here.

What is included

One engagement. Three things kept well.

A shortlist, an engagement, and the platform. Priced as one because they belong together.

You engage directly

The working relationship is yours. We help with the contract, onboarding, and a quarterly review — but the manager reports to you, not to us.

Sydney FAQs

The questions Sydney households ask.

If yours is not here, write to us. We answer in plain language, by email, by the next business day.

01

Do you have managers across Sydney?

+

Yes. Most of our Sydney managers are across the North Shore, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West and Northern Beaches, with a growing number in the Hills District and Sutherland Shire. We shortlist within a practical commute of your home.

02

What does a household manager actually do?

+

The day-to-day running of the home: calendars, tradespeople, the pantry, school logistics, household admin. Not a nanny, not a cleaner — think chief of staff for a household, working alongside your family remotely.

03

How long does a Sydney placement take?

+

Most engagements settle in three to four weeks, from briefing call to start date. Sydney is our largest network, so shortlists come together quickly.

04

What do managers typically charge in Sydney?

+

Between $45 and $75 per hour depending on the scope, hours, and experience. You agree the rate directly with your manager — we take nothing from their wages.

05

Can I meet my manager before engaging?

+

Yes. We arrange brief video introductions first, then an in-person meeting before you commit. You decide the pace.

What you'll be asked

01

About the household — who lives there, ages of children, properties to keep

02

About the role — hours, days, live-in or out, anything specific you need kept

03

About the rhythm — what does a quiet week look like, what does a hard one look like

04

About the budget — annual cost we should plan around, and when you would like to start

“We treat your home with the discretion you’d expect of a family office.”

The household engages the manager directly · Verification reduces risk, it does not guarantee suitability · We do not provide legal, tax, payroll or migration advice
